Should i put my oil filled radiator next to the balcony door?

i have an oil filled radiator - the draftiest place in the lounge is at the balcony door, which has a curtain etc etc is it sensible to put this heater next to the balcony door? Will this be more efficient for the heat/heat loss or reverse? Forget about thermostats and such as i have this on a timer switch - comes on when i want it to.Should i put my oil filled radiator next to the balcony door?
You can do - it will warm up and the draught will just push the warmer air into the room.

But, consider buying a roll of self adhesive window seal strip - B%26amp;Q (拢6) - open the door/s and run it along the parts that touch the frame - it will seal it quite well and stop the draughtsShould i put my oil filled radiator next to the balcony door?
Yes, anywhere you have the most heat loss is a good location to offset the drafts.

If you had forced air heat this is where a vent would be installed.
i would leave it there ..then when you do get a draught the air in it will be warmed !
