my oil-filled radiator is not working anymore and i really need a new heater for my room. it's so cold here. can you please recommend me which heater is the best %26amp; energy wise?Please help?! Ceramic heater, fan heater, or oil-filled radiator ?
Oil filled radiators are the best but more expensive then the others. They run quiet, are very safe,and give the most natural heat. Honeywell makes a real good slim one.Please help?! Ceramic heater, fan heater, or oil-filled radiator ?
Oil filled are very good at heating by convection, i,e, they heat the air in the room. Fan heaters do the samething but are noisy.
Ceramic heaters heat like the Sun and make you feel warm although they don't raise the air temperature in the room very much., there are cheap halogen heaters coming in from China which heat like ceramic, and are surprisingly good ( $18 )
