I live in england, does it cost much to use an oil filled radiator? ?

wondering if it's cheaper than the amount i pay on gas for my regular radiatorsI live in england, does it cost much to use an oil filled radiator? ?
Since it is electrical then you are able to judge. An oil filled heater is good for a small area on cold days but it was not meant as a main source. What is cheaper gas or electric.I live in england, does it cost much to use an oil filled radiator? ?
TRULY there is only one way to tell.

You have to calculate the power your oil filled heater uses.

Sure it has (probably) a 600w and 900w setting, but if it has a thermostat it will all depend on the temp in the room and how warm you like it. All depends because it will turn off and on by itself.

There is a device called a killawatt meter. Get one. You can audit anything on power consumption.

It will tell you how many KWh your heater uses and you can multiply the KWh on the price per KWh on your electric bill.

In my experience, oil filled IS cheaper if used for 1 room. Especially at night.
100 English pounds! Gimme a hundred!
