What could be the cause of oil in radiator 1996 plymouth neon?

check your oil cooler, you prolly need a new radiator and coolant flush, i think the oil cooler is inside the radiator if it goes bad it can leak into the coolant and cause a mess, check that first. a head gasket can cause this also, but you will have other symtoms like overheating, bubling in radiator at warm temp, steam in exhaust , water in spark plug holes and engine will run rough. What could be the cause of oil in radiator 1996 plymouth neon?
head gasket is leaking into one of the water veans in the engine block . its easy to pull off and change before it gets to badWhat could be the cause of oil in radiator 1996 plymouth neon?
its been said but i want my 2 points...lol, i will try and earn them though. blown head gasket, possibly a cracked block but im not sure. i do know this. my girlfriend had to get a new head when she bought her 97 neon. and my stepdad worked for napa for 22 years, he said that after 3 or so people had come in for new head gaskets back when the cars were only 5 years old...he asked and they said dodge/plymouth claim that the head gasket on that car is only intended to last 60k miles, and not covered under factory warranty, it fell under the same category as brake pads.
neon is known for blown head gaskets and or cracked blocks.

it will cost 700 to 1000 to fix it. scap the car
you have a bad intake gasket ,it would be a head gasket if you had antifreeze in your oil .when you check the oil is it a milky color or have white smoke comming out of tailpipe or a miss in the engine those are signs of headgaskets but if only oil in antifreeze id say intake
Most likely cause would be a cracked head gasket.
Blown head gasket, warped head,or a cracked head.Big job to repair.
blown head gasket
i own a repair shop, and it probably a blown head gasket on it,it s blown in an oil port and this allows it to blow it over to the coolant chamber on it,it going to need a new head gasket, and maybe another head for it,they usually crack also, its almost as much to repair this as the car is worth, but it can be repaired,if you decide ot do this it will probably cost you around 7-800 bucks to get it going good again, good luck with it,i hope this help,s.
