Would it cost less to use oil filled radiator than storage heaters?

I have storage heaters in my flat they are 1.5 and they are so expensive. I have an electric oil filled radiator which i am using cos its only 500 watt is this cheaper to run than the storage heaters?

Also if i use the radiator at night am i getting a cheeper rate i am on economy 10 with EON. (i think economy 10 means i get 10 hours of 'cheap electricity) Would it cost less to use oil filled radiator than storage heaters?
Yes you will only get cheaper electricity at night for the whole house it doesn't matter what you use. The 500 Watt radiator will use less, but you will lose what you save at night if you have it on all day. If you only use your Night storage heaters at night to charge up and not have them on boost during the day you will save money as they discharge during the day.Would it cost less to use oil filled radiator than storage heaters?
your storabe heaters are designed to charge up at night and slowly release the heat during the day to conserve heat for longer turn them on lowest setting to just a trickle and completely turn off storage heaters in rooms that you do not use ie bedrooms kitchen also does not realy need extra heat as you are only usualy in there for cooking and the kitchen is usualy warmed by this anyway extra jumper on and dont worry if you need to be warm be warm this cold snap wont last
those storage heaters are rubbish there come on when your out and turn of at night when your in so i would think so
