Why not use oil instead of water in radiator?

What happen if I use oil instead of water in radiator? Why not use oil instead of water in radiator?
your radiator will not work or it may be damaged. because, the purpose of using water in radiators is taking away as much heat as possible from the running engine. since water has more specific heat than oil, it functions effectively. Why not use oil instead of water in radiator?
You can. Air cooled engines often ';cheat'; by using an oil cooling radiation just like the regular ones for water, but smaller. It they cool the engine oil. Water is cheaper and more efficient for reasons mentioned above. Also, if you are specifically suggesting substituting oil for water in an exisitng car, keep in mind that the hoses are not oil compatible and it will not be efficient enough to cool your engine.
Kasab is correct with his answer, and also one other thing.

Imagine driving down the road and you don't notice your car starting to overheat. Instead of the car releasing steam from water, it would release oil that would have a high chance of exploding into a fireball and destroying the engine and maybe you with it. :P
You can use oil for cooling at greater costs for the following reasons:

1- The cooling system has to be bigger in size due to the fact that the specific heat of oil is less than that of water.

2- Oil is expensive as compared to water.
